Foreign Direct Investment stood at EUR 3.93 billion in first 11 months of 2016, up by 36 percent

Foreign Direct Investment increased by 36 percent year-on-year in the first eleven months of 2016 to EUR 3.93 billion,data published by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) shows, according to Business-Review.eu.

Direct investments of the nonresidents stood at EUR 3.928 billion, with equity (including estimated net reinvestment of earnings) totaled EUR 3.089 billion, and intercompany lending recorded the net value of EUR 839” the data released by the BNR shows, according to TransylvaniaToday.ro.

 

Compared with the first 10 months of the year, foreign direct investment increased with EUR 192 million, from EUR 3.736 billion to EUR 3.928 billion.
